The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP technologies, technical project management, and team leadership, along with experience managing client expectations and ensuring successful delivery of SAP solutions within time, budget, and scope. As an SAP Technical Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and work closely with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. ### **Key Responsibilities:** - **Project Management:** Lead and manage multiple SAP technical projects, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. - **Stakeholder Management:** Serve as the main point of contact for the client, managing expectations, addressing concerns, and providing project updates. - **Team Leadership:** Direct and coordinate a team of SAP developers, architects, and technical consultants. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the project lifecycle. - **Technical Oversight:** Ensure that the technical solutions being developed align with client requirements, SAP best practices, and organizational standards. - **Risk & Issue Management:** Identify project risks and issues early, and proactively develop mitigation plans to avoid delays or scope creep. - **Quality Assurance:** Ensure that the SAP solutions meet the highest quality standards through rigorous testing, code reviews, and quality checkpoints. - **Change Management:** Manage scope changes and ensure proper documentation and approvals are obtained before implementing changes. - **Reporting & Documentation:** Provide regular project updates, reports, and documentation to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability at all stages. - **Budget & Resource Management:** Oversee project budgets, ensure resource allocation, and track time & expenses to ensure the project stays within financial constraints. - **Process Improvement:** Suggest and implement process improvements for better project execution, efficiency, and delivery. ### **Required Skills and Qualifications:** - **Education:** Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. PMP, Scrum, or similar project management certification preferred. - **Experience:** - 7+ years of experience in SAP project management, with a focus on technical management (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Cloud, or other relevant SAP technologies). - Proven experience managing SAP implementation or upgrade projects, preferably in a leadership or managerial role. - Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, or others. - Hands-on experience with SAP architecture, integration, and infrastructure. - Experience with SAP system landscapes (development, test, production environments). - Strong familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies. - **Technical Skills:** - In-depth understanding of SAP technical architecture, integration, and development. - Experience with SAP Basis, ABAP, Fiori, SAP HANA, and related technologies. - Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into actionable project plans. - Familiarity with cloud-based SAP solutions (SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform). - **Project Management Tools:** Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or similar. - **Communication:** Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - **Leadership:** Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to motivate and guide teams in a fast-paced environment. ### **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or greenfield implementations. - Experience with SAP security and compliance. - Knowledge of SAP integration with non-SAP systems (e.g., third-party applications, cloud solutions). - Experience in managing offshore/onshore teams. **Key Competencies:** - **Client Management:** Ability to build strong client relationships and manage client expectations. - **Time Management:** Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. - **Problem Solving:** Ability to analyze and solve complex technical issues in a timely manner. - **Collaboration:** Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical, business, and executive teams.
