Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code (la) using tools such as Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager. Set up and manage GCP networks, including VPCs, subnets, load balancers, and firewalls. Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Build, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Google Cloud Build. Integrate automated testing, code quality, and security checks into CI/CD workflows. Ensure seamless, high- quality application deployments with minimal downtime. Automation & Scripting: Write automation scripts (using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages) to streamline deployment and operational tasks. Automate routine maintenance tasks and system monitoring to ensure uptime and optimal performance. Monitoring and Logging: Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions using Google Cloud's Operations suite (formerly $tackdriver) and third-party tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Set up centralized logging and application performance monitoring to proactively identify and resolve issues. Security & Compliance: Work with security teams to ensure that cloud infrastructure and applications are compliant with industry standards and best practices (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR). Implement identity and access management (IAM) policies, network security, encryption, and vulnerability management. Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth application lifecycle management. Document processes, pipelines, infrastructure configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
