Strong in programming languages with Hands-on experience: Scala and/or python and experience with Public cloud technologies such as AWS, Data Bricks is required. Years of experience needed Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with data focused application development such as ETL, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, SQL, AWS, DataBricks Key Responsibilities: Experience with advanced Bigdata technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, SQL and NoSQL. Strong in programming languages with Hands-on experience: Scala and/or python. Experience with Public cloud technologies such as AWS, Data Bricks is required. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements, assess existing data structures, and design appropriate solutions. Develop and implement data migration strategies, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, leveraging Databricks' capabilities and best practices. Design and optimize data models within the Databricks environment, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and adherence to data governance standards. Work closely with data engineers, and other stakeholders to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives on the Databricks platform. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members involved in the migration process, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards. Collaborate with other teams/applications to ensure compatibility, performance optimization, and scalability of DB and environments. Apply emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in data management, analytics, and cloud computing, and apply them to enhance the Databricks migration process. Certifications Needed: Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Knowledge of ETL Tools, DEVOPS, GitHub is preferrable. Exposure to Elasticsearch, Graph DB is a big plus Exposure to machine learning is a plus. Knowledge of Finance, custody services, data privacy, AML and related compliance domain is plus. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen understanding of data analytics and AI-driven insights. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Project Management: Proven track record of managing large-scale CRM and digital projects from inception to completion. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology landscapes and business requirements. Certifications: Relevant certifications are a plus.
