Role :: Python Developer with Kubernetes experience Location :: 100% Remote Type :: Contract Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize Python-based applications for high performance and scalability. Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask). Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration, deployment, scaling, and management of applications. Collaborate with DevOps to create CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and infrastructure as code. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues. Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous learning activities to stay current with best practices. Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in Python development. Proficiency in Kubernetes and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and related services. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible). Experience with RESTful API development and integrating third-party APIs. Strong understanding of Linux-based systems and scripting. Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and logging frameworks.
