http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=1932013&uid= From: stacy M, Karma Consulting.tech [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] URGENT REQUIREMENT: Role SRE Lead Location - Los Angeles CA Onsite from day one Duration:6-12months * Lead incident response and resolution efforts, including major incident coordination. * Identify root causes of incidents and implement preventive measures. * Set up, configure, and maintain monitoring systems. * Create and manage alerting rules and thresholds to identify issues proactively. * Identify and reduce unnecessary alerts and system noise. * Optimize monitoring tools to focus on critical events and eliminate false positives. * Manage the release and deployment process, ensuring minimal downtime and risk. * Automate deployment pipelines, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. * Coordinate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment workflows. * Implement automation to improve release processes. * Develop and maintain performance and incident-related metrics and reports. * Create executive-level reports to track the health and performance of the systems. * Use data analysis to drive process improvements * Overall 8+ years of experience with 3+ years of experience in eCommerce/Retail applications * Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on incident management, platform support, infrastructure automation, and DevOps. * Application production support knowledge and proven debugging skills. * Experience with configuring and managing cloud services * Proficiency in using monitoring and alerting tools like NewRelic (preferred), Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Datadog. * Experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) and DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.). * Strong understanding of incident & change management frameworks and tools (like ServiceNow) * Hands-on experience in setting up and managing CI/CD processes and tools including GitHub Actions * Familiarity with Performance Testing of web applications * Knowledge of Shopify platform or e-commerce systems is a plus. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Strong communication and leadership abilities. * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
