Job Title: SAP HR HCM Consultant Location: [Arizona City, AZ Remote] Job Type: [Contract] Job Summary: The SAP HR HCM Consultant will be responsible for implementing and supporting SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) modules, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), Payroll, Employee Self-Service (ESS), and Manager Self-Service (MSS). The consultant will collaborate with HR business users to understand requirements, provide expert advice, and configure SAP HCM solutions to meet business needs. This position requires a deep understanding of SAP HR processes and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes. Key Responsibilities: SAP HCM Implementation and Configuration: Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP HR HCM modules (PA, OM, TM, Payroll, ESS/MSS). Perform detailed analysis of client requirements and map them to SAP HCM functionalities. Design, configure, and test SAP HCM solutions to ensure they meet business requirements. Develop and execute test cases to validate system functionality. Consulting and Support: Provide expert guidance to HR business users on best practices for utilizing SAP HCM functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the SAP HCM system, ensuring timely resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP HR with other modules such as SAP Finance (FI), SAP Controlling (CO), and SAP SuccessFactors. Provide post-implementation support, including system maintenance and updates. Training and Documentation: Create detailed user documentation and training materials. Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders on SAP HCM processes and features. Prepare functional specifications for custom development and enhancements. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through SAP HCM automation. Stay current with SAP updates and new features, and advise on how to incorporate them into existing solutions. Provide recommendations for optimizing existing SAP HR configurations and processes. Project Management: Lead or participate in the execution of SAP HCM projects, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-go-live support. Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management. Ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in SAP HR HCM implementations and support. Strong knowledge of core SAP HR HCM modules (PA, OM, TM, Payroll, ESS/MSS). Experience in configuring and supporting SAP Payroll and Time Management modules is highly preferred. Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus. Experience working in large-scale SAP implementation projects. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with business users and technical teams. Proficiency in SAP HCM transaction codes, report generation, and system troubleshooting. Certifications: SAP HR HCM certification (preferred) or similar HRIS-related certifications. Knowledge: Knowledge of HR business processes, best practices, and regulatory compliance. Familiarity with integration points between SAP HCM and other modules (e.g., SAP FI/CO, SAP SuccessFactors).
