The ideal candidate will establish and maintain robust data governance practices, collaborating with stakeholders to create a culture of accountability and trust in data. This role requires a deep understanding of data governance frameworks, data management, and privacy regulations to ensure that data assets are organized, accessible, and safeguarded to support critical business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards. Collibra tool Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, data owners, business units, and compliance, to define and assign data stewardship roles. Drive data quality initiatives, including data profiling, data cleansing, validation, and continuous improvement of data accuracy and consistency. Establish and manage a data catalog, including metadata management, data lineage, and classification to improve data discoverability and usability. Monitor compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and ensure that data handling practices meet regulatory requirements. Provide guidance on data governance best practices and deliver training sessions to foster a culture of data stewardship.
