The developer will design, develop, test, configure, and provide technical support for mainframe systems. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will play a critical role in mainframe application migrations and infrastructure planning while ensuring operational efficiency and performance. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the mainframe SME, ensuring effective design, development, and support of mainframe applications. Participate in infrastructure planning and provide future technology insights. Lead mainframe application migration projects, collaborating across departments. Establish and maintain technical roadmaps, documentation, and system configuration. Analyze capacity, performance, and support contingency planning efforts. Evaluate vendor proposals, manage build vs. buy decisions, and oversee project execution. Stay current with industry developments and apply new concepts to enhance operations. Technical Skills: - Must Have: CICS COBOL, COBOL Mainframe Programmer, IBM MVS Z/OS, JCL, Platform Engineering Mainframe -Nice to Have: AmTrust, DevOps tools (GitHub), Wealth Management Qualifications: 10-20 years of mainframe development and infrastructure experience. Expertise in mainframe operating systems, hardware, and application development. Strong knowledge of mainframe languages and productivity tools.
