Build and maintain ETL processes leveraging PySpark for large-scale data processing. Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability. Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing data workflows to ensure seamless data integration. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to meet business requirements. Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance. Document data engineering processes, workflows, and technical specifications. Stay updated on the latest AWS services and advancements in Apache Airflow and PySpark. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in AWS Astronomer, Apache Airflow, and PySpark. Strong understanding of AWS services (e.g., S3, EMR, Lambda, Glue, Redshift). Hands-on experience with ETL development and managing workflows in Airflow. Proficiency in Python and distributed computing frameworks. Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL and NoSQL. Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and big data frameworks. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
