This is a long-term contract role that requires a seasoned professional with expertise in SAP HR Payroll functional configuration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP Payroll solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. Local candidates are preferred, but relocation to Atlanta is an option. Key Responsibilities: Functional Requirements & Analysis: Participate in developing functional requirements, conducting business process analyses, and performing needs assessments to align IT with business objectives. Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP modules to enhance business functionality and performance. Analyze current business processes and recommend/develop solutions to meet client needs. SAP Payroll Configuration & Implementation: Design, configure, and test various SAP HR Payroll modules. Manage the implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring smooth integration and functionality within the organization. Provide functional expertise, guidance, and training on SAP Payroll products to clients. Troubleshooting & Client Liaison: Act as a liaison with the client, investigating and resolving software issues related to SAP Payroll. Map business requirements, processes, and objectives, ensuring they are met through necessary product modifications. Leadership & Guidance: Take responsibility for the successful implementation of SAP Payroll solutions, offering detailed knowledge and industry best practices. Provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring all organizational standards are adhered to during the project lifecycle. Knowledge Sharing: Maintain a thorough understanding of SAP HR Payroll best practices and continuously improve processes and procedures. Train and mentor junior consultants and clients on SAP Payroll functionalities and industry standards. Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience in SAP HR Payroll functional configuration. Strong understanding of US SAP Payroll functions and processes. Experience managing SAP implementations from start to finish. Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of SAP Payroll and its integration with other SAP modules. Ability to design, configure, and test SAP modules to meet business requirements. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills to liaise with business users and understand their requirements. Ability to develop and present solutions to clients, ensuring alignment with business goals. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Additional Requirements: Ability to work in a hybrid model (local to Atlanta preferred). Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide teams and clients through complex SAP implementations.
