Overview: Data Engineer to join the small business team within the commercial banking division of Capital One. This position will involve working with advanced data technologies, including Python and Spark, to develop, maintain, and migrate data pipelines, while ensuring high-quality delivery of business-driven projects. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows. Participate in migrating existing systems from ECS to AWS Glue. Contribute to the adoption of next-generation data ecosystems. Collaborate in team meetings, including Agile stand-ups and planning sessions. Rewrite existing scripts for platform migration and optimize processes. Learn and leverage proprietary Capital One tools for data engineering. Handle data transfers, storage migrations, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
