Position: Cyber Data Architect with Strong AWS exp (100% Remote) Location: 100% Remote Duration : 6+ months Job Description : The Cyber Data Architect is responsible for architecting and developing a robust data lake/data fabric capability on AWS to support the organization's SIEM and SOAR initiatives, enabling efficient data ingestion, storage, and analysis for enhanced threat detection and response. RESPONSIBILITIES Design and implement scalable data lake/data fabric architectures on AWS to support the ingestion, storage, and processing of large volumes of security-related data from various sources. Ensure seamless integration of the AWS data lake/data fabric with existing SIEM and SOAR platforms to enhance data correlation, analysis, and automated response capabilities. Develop and maintain data pipelines using AWS services to facilitate the efficient flow of data from collection points to the data lake/data fabric, ensuring data quality and integrity. Work closely with security analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure the data infrastructure meets the needs of the organization's security operations. Optimize the performance of the AWS data lake/data fabric to ensure fast and reliable access to security data for real-time monitoring, analysis, and response. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS Strong Experience in data engineering, including the design and development of data lakes and data fabrics on AWS. Proficiency in AWS services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, and AWS Lambda. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for developing data pipelines and automating data processing tasks on AWS. Understanding of cyber security concepts and the specific data requirements for SIEM and SOAR platforms. Ability to engage with technical stakeholders, including security analysts and engineers, to discuss design and architecture requirements. Skilled in developing comprehensive architecture and design documentation to ensure clarity and alignment with project goals.
