This individual will join an ongoing project to add new features to the Android version of their best-in-class flagship product. The project length is approximately 3-4 months, but could go longer based on performance and ongoing needs. The selected candidate will play a critical role in achieving a successful release in Spring 2023. Responsibilities: Contribute to software development efforts using Android Frameworks and Services, Java, and SQLite Write and run unit and UI tests for Android Create features that involve push notifications, APIs and cloud messaging Work closely with Management to understand desired functionality and appearance Qualifications: Required: Minimum of 5 years professional experience in Android development Experience writing and running unit and UI tests for Android Proficient in Java and SQLite Extensive experience with Android Frameworks and Services Proficient in code versioning using Git Familiarity with push notifications, APIs and cloud messaging Experience with continuous integration. Excellent communication skills.
