Role: Guidewire Developer with Insurance domain Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid) Duration: Contract Experience: 10+ years Visa : Only H1B with Passport Number Role Description: Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and customize Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) to meet business requirements. Analyze and translate business needs into technical specifications. Integrate Guidewire applications with other systems using APIs and web services. Perform unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and performance of applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand insurance workflows and deliver optimized solutions. Maintain and enhance existing Guidewire applications, ensuring they align with industry standards and best practices. Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Guidewire systems. Document technical designs, processes, and solutions for future reference. Qualifications: Mandatory Skills: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 25 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire development. Proficiency in Guidewire Configuration and Integration, including GOSU programming. Strong understanding of the insurance domain, including underwriting, claims, and billing processes. Experience with Guidewire DataHub/InfoCenter is a plus. Knowledge of web services (SOAP/REST), XML, and SQL.
