Proven Expertise: Strong background in mainframe technologies, including COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM/DB2, and online applications with at least 5+ years of hands-on development experience Modern Mindset: While youre an expert in legacy systems, youre also excited by the challenge of integrating them into modern infrastructure and eager to learn about new technologies. Problem Solver: You thrive in situations that require creative solutions and have a natural ability to think critically under pressure. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of hands-on mainframe applications experience working with COBOL, JCL, VSAM Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with DB2 and CICS required Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in development project life cycle activities and maintenance projects. Experience working on web based applications Proven experience creating and deploying stored procedures in DB2 (required) In-depth Systems Analysis experience required (required) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (required) Strong written and verbal communication skills (required) May need to work some on-call hours to support application/production (hours will be adjusted so rule out overtime). Ability to work within a diverse, co-located, multi-cultural and multiple stakeholder environment. Extra Credit: Experience in Retail domain.
