This role requires a strong focus on architecture, API design, and collaboration across teams. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to refine requirements, integrate data sources, and optimize API performance. Design, develop, and optimize high-performance API services using Kotlin and Spring Boot. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement scalable solutions. Develop robust authentication and authorization mechanisms for API security. Drive API design using contract-first development practices. Ensure code quality through rigorous code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices. Leverage design patterns and object-oriented principles to build maintainable solutions. Contribute to the integration of various data sources and ensure smooth data flow. Collaborate with team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and leadership. Utilize GitHub for version control, code reviews, and project collaboration. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience as a software developer with a focus on backend development. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kotlin and Spring Boot. Strong experience in API design, architecture, and contract-first development. Proven expertise in authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.). Proficiency in design patterns, object-oriented programming, and best coding practices. Demonstrated experience in code quality, code reviews, and writing effective test cases. Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration. Solid background in data integrations and working with various data sources. Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative and team-oriented environments. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): Experience with ServiceNow platform integrations. Familiarity with Dynatrace for performance monitoring. Knowledge of Snyk for security vulnerability management.
