Infrastructure Engineer Dallas TX (Onsite) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer - Middleware Delivery to join our dynamic IT team. The role involves designing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining middleware technologies, including IBM MQ, Apache Tomcat, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), and IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS). You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of middleware solutions that support critical business applications. Key Responsibilities: Middleware Deployment and Administration: Install, configure, and manage IBM MQ, Tomcat, IIB, and WAS across development, test, and production environments. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery setups for middleware platforms. Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting: Monitor middleware performance and optimize for scalability and reliability. Perform root cause analysis and resolve middleware-related issues promptly. Collaborate with application teams to diagnose and address performance bottlenecks. Security and Compliance: Implement middleware security policies and ensure compliance with organizational standards. Manage user access controls, SSL certificates, and secure communication protocols. Integration Support: Work closely with developers and architects to implement and support application integrations using IIB and MQ. Develop scripts for automation and integration workflows. System Maintenance and Upgrades: Plan and execute middleware upgrades, patches, and migrations. Maintain middleware documentation, including configurations and operational procedures. Monitoring and Reporting: Utilize monitoring tools to track middleware health and performance. Generate and analyze reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaboration and Training: Partner with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and application teams, for seamless middleware delivery.
