MUST HAVE STRONG CONFIGURATION SKILLS. THEY WERE A BA/SYSTEMS ANALYST BUT THEY CAN HAVE ANY FUNCTIONAL BACKGROUND. Worked on System preferences for exporting data in Alfa System in process of Alfa Configuration. Data Management or Data transfer was performed in Alfa System as part of Alfa Configuration and updated the Alfa version. Experienced in performing the small data fix wrapper which allows Alfa Support to deliver very small, targeted data fixes to client databases where simple updates/inserts/deletions need to be performed. Experienced in functional testing and work with business users in preparing User Acceptance Test Cases and assisted in UAT testing. Supported Alfa System End-to-end for all asset finance products: finance lease, operating lease, loan, hire purchase. Automate the workflows using Appian BPM and help the business process for flooring vehicles and managing the vehicle data. Created business cases for each implementation in Alfa Systems to consolidate multiple client systems on a single platform. Integrated workflows and automated the processing using business rules, and the opportunities that Alfa Systems presents to Santander asset finance company. Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Alfa Configuration Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for configuring and optimizing the Alfa software platform, which serves as a critical solution for equipment and auto finance companies. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure that the Alfa application is customized and set up according to business needs, workflows, and industry-specific requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Alfa software platform, experience with configuration and customization, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Responsibilities: Configure the Alfa software platform to meet the specific needs of equipment and auto finance companies. Implement system customizations, including the setup of product configurations, workflows, and user permissions. Work closely with internal teams (e.g., business analysts, developers, project managers) and clients to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable configurations. Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and configuration guides for clients. Conduct functional testing to ensure that the Alfa configurations meet business requirements and are error-free. Perform system validation and troubleshooting to ensure smooth integration and functionality across the platform. Assist in training sessions and documentation to help users understand and effectively use the configured system. Continuously assess and recommend improvements to the existing Alfa configuration to ensure alignment with evolving business needs. Qualifications: Proven experience configuring the Alfa software platform (or similar finance software). Familiarity with the financial services industry, particularly in the auto or equipment finance sector, is a plus. Experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of configuration tools, SQL, and data integration processes. Familiarity with software development concepts, especially in the context of customization and configuration.
