Title: Program Management Senior Advisor Location : Austin, TX (Hybrid-(Tue-Thu) Duration: 12+months Locals Only Job Description: Management and overall delivery responsibilities for multiple agile teams all aligned to a common customer enablement or ART. Work closely with key stakeholders, including senior level executive sponsors, to define roadmaps and establish priorities. Manage the competing needs of multiple stakeholders. Manage the relationship with IT, Business and Operations partners at all levels all the organization. Keep IT and Business stakeholders informed of program status, risks, and key decisions. Ensure transparent and timely communications. Maintain overall accountability for financial and resource management of all release train deliverables from small enhancements to large programs. Develop materials/presentations for executive stakeholders on progress, successes, agile maturity, etc. Manage the relationship with IT, Business and Operations partners at all levels all the organization. Mature all Agile practices following the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology. Foster communication and collaboration between Agile teams within the Release Train and all appropriate stakeholders. Promote team successes on a regular basis. Acquire business approvals for test strategy and high-level scenarios from business Skills: Strong technical background with a core competency in software development and/or architecture is desired Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including senior level executive sponsors Define strategic roadmaps, negotiate priorities, and manage competing needs of multiple stakeholders Executive presence, Communication Skills: Ability to influence leaders, drive change and transformation while working across all levels of the organization Strong Knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, utilizing CA Agile Central/Rally Hands on experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, Features, Capabilities and Epics development and refinement, Continuous Integration, Behavior Drive Development (BDD) test automation framework, Continuous Deployments, Regression Testing, Pair Programming, Burn Down Metrics, Velocity, etc. Hands on experience with software development processes and procedures to understand team needs includes fundamentals of iterative and incremental development Solid conceptual understanding of technology components, DevOps tools and practices Experience with Lean Portfolio Management facilitation at the program, portfolio and executive-level Resource Management Skills: Ability to determine supply and demand and obtain necessary resources across a matrixed organization to complete the work successfully.
