This role requires you to oversee both the front-end and back-end development of our e-commerce applications, ensuring seamless integration, exceptional performance, and alignment with business goals. Your expertise in Kibo Commerce, Kibo APIs, modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js), and cloud technologies (AWS) will be crucial to the success of our digital commerce platform. Key Responsibilities: Full-stack Development: Lead both front-end and back-end development for applications based on Kibo Commerce, leveraging technologies like React, Next.js, Node.js, and AWS. Kibo Commerce Integration: Implement Kibo Commerce solutions, including seamless integration of Kibo APIs to support key e-commerce features such as product catalogs, shopping carts, checkout systems, and user management. Custom Development: Design and develop custom features and modules on top of the Kibo platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical specifications. Architecture & Design: Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions within the Kibo Commerce ecosystem, optimizing performance and flexibility. Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, conducting code reviews, sharing best practices, and fostering continuous learning. API Development & Integration: Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs to ensure seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems as well as third-party services. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Utilize AWS to deploy, monitor, and scale applications, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, propose solutions, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality e-commerce features. Agile Development: Participate in agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, collaborating with the team to meet project deadlines. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks to ensure low-latency, high-performance operations across the platform. Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for testing (unit tests, integration tests, and test-driven development), ensuring the reliability and quality of the codebase. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in software development, focusing on e-commerce solutions and full-stack development. Proven experience with Kibo Commerce, including in-depth knowledge of Kibo APIs and the platform's capabilities. Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks. Extensive experience with Node.js and server-side JavaScript. Familiarity with GraphQL for API development and integration. Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern web design practices. Experience with ArcGIS (ArcJS) for geospatial applications and integration with e-commerce platforms. Proven expertise in AWS for deploying, scaling, and maintaining cloud-based applications.
