The Contractor shall provide Information Technology (IT) staff augmentation services supporting the Departments Office of Information Technology (OIT) in a multiyear effort to maintain and administer NetApp Storage Systems. The Contractor must provide the qualified full-time Storage Management Specialist proposed in its Response, and selected by the Department, who has the experience and ability to fulfill the requirements of this Statement of Work (SOW). Contractor Responsibilities. Storage Management Specialist Task List. The Contractor, through the Storage Management Specialist it provides, shall perform the following tasks as necessary to complete work for the OIT as assigned by the Departments Contract Manager: Provide efficient and reliable storage allocation and define backup, recovery, and archival procedures. Develop and implement business continuity practices for storage management. Install, configure, test, and implement NetApp storage management software and hardware. Monitor the use and availability of storage resources. Maintain and modify backup and recovery procedures to meet high availability and mission-critical business needs. Troubleshoot storage-related issues and take appropriate actions. Generate reports and analyses on storage usage. Maintain NetApp storage configurations to provide capacity planning and performance monitoring/tuning of systems. Mandatory Qualifications: "Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience." Proficient in the English language. Excellent communication and documentation skills. A minimum of three (3) years of IT work experience as a NetApp Storage Administrator. Requires a high level of expertise in multiple system environments. Experience overseeing Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems. Experience providing efficient and reliable storage allocation and defining backup, recovery, and archival procedures. Experience developing and implementing business continuity practices for storage management. Experience installing, configuring, testing, and implementing NetApp storage management software and hardware. Experience monitoring the use and availability of storage resources. Experience maintaining and modifying backup and recovery procedures to meet high availability and mission-critical business needs. Experience troubleshooting storage-related issues and take appropriate actions. Experience generating reports and providing analysis on storage usage. Experience maintaining NetApp storage configurations to provide capacity planning and performance monitoring/tuning of systems. Preferred Qualifications Netapp Storage Certification preferred. Work Onsite in Tallahassee, Florida This role is focused on resolving technical issues, offering guidance, and maintaining IT resources to to provide essential assistance to end-users and ensure smooth operations. To troubleshoot and resolve critical and complex tickets. To create the root cause analysis for critical issues/faults (hands on working). To implement any necessary preventive measures to reduce future defects. To provide technical assistance to the team members in resolving customer issues. To execute continuous improvement activities and to improve the team s performance.
