AWS Data Engineer / Architect Location: Remote Type: Contract Shift: Day 9AM TO 6PM Job Summary: We are seeking a Sr. Architect with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Big Data, Amazon S3, and Python. Experience in the Utilities domain is a plus. This hybrid role requires working in a day shift with no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable solutions that drive our company's success and positively impact society. Required Skills: Python, Amazon S3, Big Data Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of scalable Big Data solutions to meet business requirements. Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines using Amazon S3 and Python. Provide technical expertise in data architecture and ensure best practices are followed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture and processes. Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards. Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and cost-efficiency. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data architecture. Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Big Data and cloud computing. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data architecture and processes.
