Federal funding, requiring compliance with federal requirements (e.g., testing, deployment, pilot phases). 7+ years of experience managing government projects. 10+ years of experience implementing projects using standard SDLC methodologies. Managed 3+ projects through end-to-end SDLC phases (initiation, requirements, development, testing, deployment, operational support). Educational background in IT, Business/Public Administration, Project Management, or Communications. Holds current PMP or PgMP certification from the Project Management Institute.Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget; manage variances, staffing plans, and risk mitigation. Manage risks, issues, communications, and interdependencies across project components. Team Leadership: Lead team members in a matrixed environment to deliver high-quality outputs aligned with project goals. Facilitate detailed task planning and collaborate on resource allocation based on priorities. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage associated plans. Resolve issues through persistent collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Meetings & Communication: Organize and lead project meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items and minutes. Ensure clear understanding of objectives, roles, and responsibilities among stakeholders. Vendor Coordination: Oversee and coordinate vendor activities related to rules extraction and use case documentation, ensuring adherence to scope, methodology, and quality.
