Title: Senior Business (IT) Process Analyst Duration: 6 Months Job Type: Remote Visa Status: H1B & H4EAD Primary Skills: Business Process Management (BPM) Lean Six Sigma certification (Must) UC Office of the President temporary staff Job Description Role: Senior Business (IT) Process Analyst Start Date: January 2025 (subject to UCOP procurement turn around time) Contract term: 6 months Job Details Seeking a process professional with 5+ years demonstrable experience as Business Process Analyst (BPA) in enterprise IT to develop business processes for strategic system wide initiatives. Primary duties include Elicit/identify process needs Analyze and document current processes and workflows using tools Propose enhancements to improve operational efficiency Identify gaps and address any bottlenecks in current flows Provide input to project manager on task breakdown development adhering to process flow Test end to end flows prior to any new process roll-out Work with project manager and cross-functional teams Key success factors for a potential candidate (in addition to required skills) Self-starter Proactive; can do problem solving attitude; Navigate through ambiguity Superior communication skills Written & Verbal Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams Qualifications: Required Bachelors degree or equivalent years of relevant experience 7+ years overall experience of which 5 years as business systems analyst (with focus on process flow development) Preferred Any Business Process Management (BPM) Tool proficiency such as Nintex Process Manager, Visio, Word Expert knowledge of large scale, complex security configurations and process analysis functions.
