Job Title:- IBM Systems Administrator Location:- Remote (Oshkosh, WI) Job Description: IBM DS storage arrays, for troubleshooting server problems and coordinating across the infrastructure and corporate landscape. Minimum Qualifications: At least 10 years with the IBM i platform, including HMC experience. Monitoring, troubleshooting, customer service, problem solving, cross team collaboration, risk analysis, analytical, operating systems, hardware, infrastructure design, scripting Strong communication, time management, problem solving, teamwork, leadership, mentoring, project management, business acumen, requirements gathering, planning. Experience with some of these Fortra products: Alert, Console, Compliance Monitor, and Exit Point Manager. MIMIX or other DR software. Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field, preferred. Experience with VIOS and/or IBM DS storage experience, preferred. Responsibilities: Serves as an escalation point for advanced operational support and troubleshooting for the IBM Power server environment technologies, hardware, and environment. An advance understanding of IBM Power and IBMi OS server aspects and environment to take ownership of most aspects from end to end. Conducting triage and resolution of server issues and outages that arrive via ServiceNow requests that pertain to server hardware, server virtualization, and other aspects that impact the IBM Power servers. Cross functional team communicating and coordinating efforts for database, applications, and infrastructure activities. Advance knowledge of the ITIL process, ticket resolution, and stakeholder response Cross team collaboration with business and information technology stakeholders, driving solutions design and development.
