Candidates should plan on a hybrid work schedule, or 3 days in the office/week Job Profile Summary Highly skilled Boomi iPaaS Architect with design and implementation experience in integration solutions. Deep understanding of integration architecture, best practices, and strong technical background in data security, optimization, and performance monitoring. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Job Description: Position Responsibilities and Duties: Architect and manage end-to-end integration processes, including data mapping, transformation, and workflow configuration. Develop and implement integration strategies aligned with company objectives, you will be a thought leader on how to design, implement, manage, and scale our integration platform leveraging modern architecture and technologies. Work closely with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, integration & development teams, and architects to gather requirements to ensure that integration solutions align with business and enterprise objectives. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with project teams to assist in the delivery of solution implementation by providing guidance as needed to application, engineering, and operations teams. Provide technical leadership on integration development, Flow development, API management, Master data management, data quality, and error handling across multiple enterprise applications. Optimize integration platform performance through high availability, scalability, proactive monitoring, logging, and performance tuning. Build reusable integration frameworks, APIs, and connectors to streamline data and system connectivity. Develop project estimates based on user requirements, integration design, and technical specifications and monitor schedule, and quality of deliverables from developers. Design and manage integrations and applications based on industry best practices, design patterns, established guidelines, policies, and procedures. Ensure that integration solutions meet data governance, compliance, and security standards. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to develop and enforce security protocols for data in transit. Create and maintain detailed documentation for all integration solutions, including architecture blueprints, data flow mappings, and process documentation. Conduct training and mentoring for development teams on best practices and Boomi-specific techniques. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and evaluate their potential applicability to improve our integration platform. Develop and provide forward-looking guidance and future state technical roadmaps. Establish and monitor key performance metrics for integration solutions, ensuring they meet SLAs. Identify opportunities for process automation, reusability, and efficiency improvements in existing integration workflows. Review code developed by other engineers to ensure best practices. Complete other responsibilities as assigned. Contract Management and Vendor Relationships Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration Evaluate vendor performance and hold them accountable to service level agreements (SLAs) Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, math, or equivalent Minimum 8 years of experience developing software applications and integrations. Hands-on experience with Boomi Integration platform runtime. Experienced in building SaaS solutions with agile principles and a strong background in cloud infrastructure technologies (i.e. Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, MySQL, NoSQL) Strong programming experience in Python or Java C# or Node.js is a plus. Expert-level knowledge in JavaScript, Groovy, ReactJS, NodeJS AngularJS, and modern web service architecture. Hands-on experience with low code UI/workflow platforms such as Boomi flow or equivalent. Good understanding of Swagger (OpenAPI/Swagger) REST API specification standards. Experience with containerization (Docker), DevOps pipeline, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, and code management using GitHub/GitHub actions or Jenkins. Knowledge of Autodesk APIs, data bricks, Toric, and data integration experience is a big plus. Extensive experience with Boomi Atmosphere, API Management, Flow, DataHub, and related Boomi capabilities. Lead the developers with AI-engineered solutions that can solve business challenges. Strong background in integration, middleware, or iPaaS architecture with a deep understanding of API, ETL, and EDI standards. Proficiency in RESTful and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and other data exchange formats. Solid understanding of database concepts (SQL, NoSQL) and experience integrating various data sources. Knowledge of security best practices for integrations, including OAuth, SSL, and data encryption techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile environments. Effective management skills, ability to provide clear direction, and measure performance on vendor deliverables. Strong organizational skills: ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent English listening, written, and verbal skills, ensuring successful communication with team members and management. Demonstrate a positive team attitude and ability to interact with diplomacy and tact with internal and external business process partners.
