Position: Data Analytics Specialist Location: Columbus, OH (Remote) Duration : 6+ Month Ideal candidate would be a Sr. Data Analytics expert with experience in Healthcare domain with GCP and Databricks. We would need PP number for verification purpose. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics Specialist with expertise in the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in database management and have hands-on experience with Databricks. This role involves leveraging data analytics to improve decision-making, optimize healthcare processes, and deliver actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: Analyze complex healthcare datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytical objectives and translate them into technical solutions. Design, maintain, and optimize healthcare-related databases for scalability and performance. Serve as an SME for database architecture, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with healthcare standards (e.g., HIPAA). Develop and manage analytics workflows on Databricks to process large-scale healthcare data. Optimize the use of Databricks for data engineering, machine learning, and real-time analytics. Apply knowledge of healthcare systems, EHR/EMR data, claims data, and patient demographics to analytics projects. Ensure alignment of data initiatives with healthcare compliance and quality standards. Work closely with clinical teams, data engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights. Present findings through compelling visualizations and reports to non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in data science, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role in the healthcare domain. Advanced expertise in database management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and familiarity with relational and non-relational databases. Hands-on experience with Databricks for analytics and big data processing. Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, Scala). Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA and FHIR. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Google Cloud) for data analytics. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) for data analytics. Familiarity with predictive modelling and machine learning techniques in healthcare. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
