Role: API Developer with Apigee Location: Remote Duration: 6+ months Job description: Lead API Migration strategy / roadmap initiatives while aligning the strategy to the business objectives for our clients Includes helping establish API organizations, API development methodology and selection of API technology components including API gateway Responsible for technical design and implementation of System integrations / API Gateway Apigee API/Config migration from OPDK to Hybrid experience is Must Good Knowledge of Apigee concepts like API proxy, Apps , Products, KVM, Appgroups etc Experience of Migrating Encrypted KVMs, Keystores and API proxy configs from OPDK to Hybrid using Automation/Devops Scripts Have good understanding of all APIGEE OPDK/Hybrid components and different deployment models. Good knowledge of APIGEE OPDK and Apigee Saas/Hybrid Platform Expertise in Oauth 1.0, 2.0, Implicit, explicit Grant types. Implement APIs using API management software (like APIGEE OPDK/Hybrid, Akana, Forum Sentry and CA Layer 7) to include API proxies, mashups, rate limiting, security policies, analytics, monetization and developer portals. Managing deployments and rollbacks of applications. Troubleshooting of API proxies, KVM, Keystore issues etc. Very good understanding of setting up High availability, load balancing and failover configurations with Apigee.
