The successful candidate will focus on validating performance, reliability, and functionality of critical IT systems. This role requires expertise in performance testing, risk analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet high-quality standards and Service-Level Agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing methodologies, workload modeling, and advanced performance analysis. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute performance test plans to validate non-functional requirements (NFRs) and Service-Level Agreements (SLAs). Identify key test scenarios and testing environments to certify the performance of business-critical functions. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive coverage of test scripts and system requirements. Analyze test results to identify discrepancies, ensuring all outputs align with performance benchmarks and SLAs. Prepare and publish detailed performance analysis reports and lead review sessions with stakeholders. Assist development teams with troubleshooting and system tuning to resolve performance bottlenecks. Lead risk assessment efforts and provide recommendations for mitigating identified risks. Work closely with development and business leads to align testing activities with organizational goals. Maintain and review testing artifacts to ensure quality and compliance with established standards. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience with testing and workload modeling across platforms (e.g., web-based, .NET applications). Minimum of 6 years of experience in test planning and defining Service-Level Agreements (SLAs). Proficiency with Quick Test Professional (QTP)/Unified Functional Testing (UFT) automation tools. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, including test plans, test cycles, and software releases. Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios and performance metrics. Technical Skills: Proficiency in source control tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS). Strong analytical, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proactive problem-solving capabilities and ability to generate actionable solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Experience conducting risk assessments and writing performance test reviews. Familiarity with legacy systems, cloud-based systems, and business intelligence tools. Certifications: Relevant Quality Assurance certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent.
