Role: Sr. Substation Engineer Develop and implement improvement plan for the unit technology. Develops and maintain plan to address gap from entitlement targets, most effective technology (MET), and best practices. Works with Capital Project Owner on process discipline related project design and installations. Scale up interface between production and outside resources. Develops plan for execution of plant trials (new product, raw material, process and equipment). Works with Manufacturing Experts on resolving technical issues. Continuous engagement in the production facility to identify and remove barriers inhibiting flawless production. Gatekeeper for new technology, trials and implementation regarding product, raw material, process and equipment. Oversee unit Management Of Change process. Drive improvements to production capacity, efficiency, process safety and environmental performance in accordance with the business and unit technology plans. Collaborate with the Process Safety Program Manager or outside servicing companies to facilitate Process Hazard Analysis (PHA). Leverage improvements between different sites or industries to continuously improve the technology and the production process.
