Candidate Selection: Choose candidates with strong technical delivery skills and prior consulting experience in Kubernetes and security-focused deployments. The consultant will deliver expertise in deploying and managing Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4 and Advanced Cluster Security (RHACS). Responsibilities include: Platform Deployment: High-impact policy implementation (e.g., blocking privileged containers). Production-ready deployments with considerations for resource limits, quotas, and HA configurations. Backup and restore operations. Integration and Configuration: RHACS integration with pipeline tooling (Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab). Centralized reporting from multiple RHACS Centrals. Registry integrations (Harbor, Quay, GitLab Registry). Training and Education: OpenShift basics and advanced Kubernetes training. OpenShift Pipelines (Tekton) education. Training internal teams and customers on interpreting scan results, managing alerts, and configuring reporting. Security and Threat Management: Vulnerability management and runtime threat detection. Incident response for containers. Key Skills/Qualifications Must-Have Skills: Expertise in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4 (OCP 4). Experience with RHACS, including deployment, security policies, and vulnerability management. Familiarity with pipeline tooling integrations (Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo). Kubernetes basics and advanced features. Additional Skills: Understanding of high-availability (HA) configurations and limitations in RHACS. Knowledge of container registry integration (Harbor, Quay). Advanced skills in training delivery for technical teams.
