This person will be involved in managing the engineering side of projects, installing and upgrading critical infrastructure. VMware is very important for recreating virtualized environments. Someone with strong Research and development experience, requirements gathering etc. someone who can sit with customers and help with project plans etc. Additional Notes (Key Skills, Keys to Success, Must Haves, etc.): Strong requirements gathering Experience managing project based deliverables and leading systems engineer, hardware engineers, and integration engineers. This is essentially a senior systems engineer/project manager position and they will be responsible for handling 3-4 customer projects at a time. Tech stack : C++/C#, IBM Doors/MS Project, SQL Server/Oracle DB, Active Directory, VMware, TC/ICP/Network Engineering Experience, and experience with cybersec infrastructure/integrated solutions Job Description: Basic Qualifications: Candidates for this role should possess a bachelor's degree and five years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and three years of prior relevant experience. Five (5) or more years of engineering experience in project operations, including all phases of the system development life cycle. Three (3) or more years of experience managing system requirements or technical project management. Experience with requirements management tools, such as DOORS. Experience with scheduling tools, such as MS Project. Preferred qualifications: System and network architecture and design. Microsoft operating systems. Relational databases, such as Oracle. Microsoft Active Directory. Software Development Life Cycles. Systems Engineering V-Model. Cybersecurity policies and procedures. Key skills for success: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to influence, inspire, and motivate all project team members. Strong sense of ownership in project deliverables, with initiative and entrepreneurial characteristics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills and configuration management.
