This role involves managing and executing "stop gap projects" that do not require full-scale implementation. The ideal candidate will leverage their prior experience as an employee within a Utilities company to provide insights into internal workflows and drive project success. Responsibilities: Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Manage "stop gap" utility projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Analyze and optimize business processes related to meter reading, customer service, and billing operations. Provide expertise in SAP and other utility-specific systems to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop actionable project plans and monitor progress. Conduct training sessions and workshops as needed during the onsite visits (20% of the time). Prepare documentation, including business requirements, project plans, and status reports. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for successful project delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5-10 years of experience in the Utilities sector, specifically in Gas & Electric. Prior experience working as an employee at a Utilities company (preferred for insider knowledge of workflows). Proficiency with SAP and related utility systems. Experience with meter reading technologies and tools such as Itron. Strong understanding of Customer Service and billing processes in Utilities. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Proven ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
