Position: IBMi System Administator Location: Greater Seattle Area, WA (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ Months Job Description : We are looking for a senior-level IBMi System Administrator with 10+ years of experience for a contract position starting ASAP. 10+ years Systems Administration on IBMi Manages planning, configuration and implementation of advanced communications features on the IBMi / iSeries, i.e. APPC, APPN, TCP/IP, and other connections required. Analyzes and resolves system events by working with SST, VLIC logs, system logs, and other IBMi / iSeries utilities. Working knowledge of IBMi Navigator client and Web utilities. Excellent understanding of IBMi / iSeries system management, system monitoring, and utilities, i.e., Tivoli, Robot, iDoctor, Mimix, X-Analysis etc. IBMi Work-Management, Job Control (job Queues, job descriptions, subsystems). IBMi OS and Licensed Product Installation, Upgrades and Maintenance. Multi IBMi Systems Landscape (DDM, Mimix, SQL Packages).
