Role:GIS Developer Location:Richmond, VA (VDOT) Position:Hybrid Experience:8 to 10 years ONLY H1B, GC, USC CANDIDATES Local to VA Preferred Skills: BS/BA in GIS, Geography, Cartography, Computer Science, or other related field with/ GIS experience. Required Proven Experience in GIS and GIS based Application Development Required Prior experience with LRS working knowledge and experience with ESRI Roads & Highways or other similar systems is a plus. Nice to have Experience in Reporting Tools such as Power BI is strongly desired. Highly desired Excellent problem-solving, verbal, and written communication, design, development, and debugging skills Required Preferred Qualifications Experience and demonstrated proficiency in data extraction, analysis, and scripting tools, preferably Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL. Prior experience with LRS and working knowledge and experience with ESRI Roads & Highways or other similar systems is a plus Develop and maintain linear referencing systems (LRS) and GIS applications to support spatial data management needs.
