Duration: Contract Rate: $60/hr. on C2C Passport number Mandatory Job Description As a Salesforce Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in streamlining and enhancing the Salesforce Testing and Support ecosystem in our organization. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining custom Salesforce solutions that automate business processes, improve data management, and drive operational efficiency. This position requires a deep understanding of Salesforces capabilities, along with strong programming and problem-solving skills to deliver innovative solutions that create a tangible impact on our business. Role Overview The Salesforce Automation Engineer is a highly technical and strategic role within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, developers, and subject matter experts, to analyze and understand their needs. Using your expertise in Salesforce, you will then design and implement custom testing strategies, workflows, and integrations that streamline business processes and enhance user experience. Your primary focus will be on leveraging Salesforce's powerful platform to automate repetitive tasks, improve data integrity, and drive business insights. You will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing Salesforce solutions to ensure they continue to meet evolving business requirements. Key Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and translate them into Salesforce-based solutions Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce test applications, workflows, and integrations Support agile scrum teams in the test script development and execution of system and end-to-end testing for Salesforce based applications. Automate business processes and data management to improve efficiency and productivity Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce functionality, data, and integrations Provide training and documentation to end-users on Salesforce features and capabilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Salesforce solutions meet evolving business needs Stay up to date with Salesforce platform updates and enhancements to identify optimization opportunities Gather feedback and close any gaps found on these requirements and specifications. Occasionally Work with UX/UI/dev leads/PMs to divide and plan the project into sprints and explain the projects to developers and designers. Creation and execution of QA test plans/scripts and Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality Help create a culture that motivates teams to ensure zero defects leak into production Partner with DevOps engineers to fully automate testing throughout the release & delivery processes in the CI/CD pipeline. Collaborate with the Center of Excellence architect and developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes. Perform usability testing to ensure user interface designs meet user needs. Document and track defects and participate in defect triage meetings. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment where empathy for and responsiveness to business stakeholders is key. Perform other duties, as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Consultant, Tester, Administrator, or Developer Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and other Salesforce-specific programming languages Great organizational, analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills, plus Solid problem solving and time management skills Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to deliver effective solutions. Experience in troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis.
