So that we dont waste anyones time please make sure that your candidates understand that this is an onsite role located onsite in Tallahassee, FL. Our client is NOT the State of Florida. We will share the clients name if your consultant is selected for an interview by the client. This is not a bid, and we can submit multiple candidates. Our client offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits. This is a hybrid role with 3 days/week in their Tallahassee, FL office. There is not a 100% remote option. There may be after-hours and weekend work as needed (with advance notice). In addition, our client requires a valid drivers license for travel to other local offices. Background Check Required Prior to hire, our client will conduct a background check, employment and education verifications, drivers license, E-Verify and drug screening. EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelors degree. In lieu of a 4-year degree they will consider the equivalent combination of training and experience. 4-6 years of experience using Fortinet, Cisco and/or Network Security, firewalls in an enterprise environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Install, support, maintain, and monitor server and storage systems (both on-premise and in the cloud). Provide access and security for user data and systems. Keep desktops, servers, and storage updated with patches/security updates. Perform backups and ensure data recovery in case of a disaster. Use Power, SQL, and scripting to automate system tasks. Backup Network Administrator. Plan, design, implement, install, document, and maintain database systems, including performance tuning. Conduct system maintenance after hours and provide after-hours support as needed.
