Job Role: Sr. Service Now Developer Location: Tempe, AZ or Santa Clara, CA (Initial 6 months remote) No H1B Hire Type: Contract Job Description: Primary Duties & Responsibilities Designs, coordinates,and carries out high impact solutions across teams both within and outsidetheir department. Establishes,aggregates, and shares enterprise standards and best practices. Mentors and guidesjunior engineers within respective division. Ensures productionstability, monitoring, and root cause analysis is implemented for theirproducts Motivated, agile, and able to work independentlyin a fast-paced team-oriented environment Committed to delivering projects on time andovercome obstacles Must possess excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills Architect, design and develop technical solutions that meet user needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, security, and reliability. Provide development leadership for medium to large sized projects and maintenance on our customer facing systems. Implement software design patterns and drive department best practices, guidelines implementation and adhering to standards. Drive implementation of frameworks that enable projects to flow quickly and safely to production with user feedback loop capability Evaluate software processes for potential design improvements, performance improvements and abstracting and refactoring opportunities Drive technical designs to consensus and approval by Architecture Review Team. Design and develop enterprise solutions for specific business need that provide frameworks, interfaces and services that can be extended and reused for future requirements. Performs impact analysis of proposed changes on existing architecture, capabilities, system priorities, and technology solutions; looks for additional solution options or trade-offs. Identifies cost/benefit implications of proposed solutions (e.g., people, processes, technology, strategy, finance). Creates and maintains application architecture and related assets. Be the go-to person for development team on architecture discussions. Be the point of contact for development team on user interface and user experience (UI/UX). Design and develop new user facing features and build reusable code and libraries for future use Create and maintain digital assets such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mockups Drive the design and development of rich and responsive web applications and repeatable delivery process Drive superlative developer experience down to the last detail and build elegant, maintainable, well documented, and secure code The above duties and responsibilities are representative ofthe nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalentexperience 6-8 years ofprofessional experience required within GRC (ORM and ERM) Domain Technologyspace. 3 years of hands-onexperience working with Service Now Integrated Risk Management/GRC module orother related GRC Platforms RSA Archer, IBM Open Pages etc., Consistent trackrecord of successfully crafting and delivering significant and impactfultechnology solutions within the ServiceNow Platform. Experience developingand leading solution delivery using agile methods. Successfully takescare of ambiguity. Experience providingsystem administration and development support for the ServiceNow platform Recognized as thego-to expert within the division or department. Ability to effectivelycommunicate to both technical and non-technical audiences in varying forms andlevels of detail. Proven understandingof design patterns and architecture. Hands-on full lifecycle experience inArchitecture, Design, Configuration & Management of APIs Deep understanding of GRC and/or ServiceNow GRC Thorough understanding of Microservice designprinciples, patterns, and best practices Extensive experience designing &implementing Microservices Deep understanding of integrating APIs withbackend Webservices, Messaging Platforms, Enterprise Apps API Management hands on experience designing & configuration (using Google APIGEE or any other market leading API Management tool) Deep understanding and experience working with DevSecOps Proven Ability to lead Customer Discussions/Requirement Meetings/ Discovery Workshops etc. Experience with Application Server configurations, release documentation & deployments, source code control ownership Must have technical architecture/lead experience for medium to large sized projects Experience with Agile Methodologies in a distributed team environment is a plus Nice to Haves ServiceNow IRM administration anddevelopment certifications.
