From: Likitha, GAC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Infrastructure Automation Architect Visa Type: USC and GC only Job Title: Infrastructure Automation Architect Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Architect to lead our infrastructure automation development team, providing design and development expertise to other infrastructure teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small, agile development team to achieve automation goals. The Candidate will architect and develop automation solutions, collaborating with and enabling other teams to automate the lifecycle of their respective internal IT products and services, and evangelizing good software engineering practices across the IT organization. Candidate will lead and mentor team members in the execution of these activities. This is a senior role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive innovation and transformation in a fast-paced, agile environment. Required Technology Skills: Strong Software Engineering experience and development skills In-depth knowledge of infrastructure automation and platform engineering Experience with DevSecOps methodologies and practices Familiarity with Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Product Oriented IT Understanding of Platform Engineering and SRE principles Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Power, or Bash Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible and Windows Desired State Configuration (DSC) Knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments, including Azure and AWS Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools and practices Understanding of TCP/IP Networking, DNS, Firewalls, and other network protocols Experience with Git source control (Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, etc.), mono-repos, short lived feature branches, branch management, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab) Experience with Vault or Secrets Management, PKI and TLS certificates, and other security practices Experience with artifact management (versioning, delivery, deployment, release...) Desired Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams Ability to drive innovation and transformation, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation Experience with task planning and execution, including project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and runbooks Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL Experience with collaboration and version control tools, such as Slack and Microsoft Teams Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions to meet business objectives Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure automation and development, with a focus on leading teams and architecting solutions Preferred 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role, with a focus on infrastructure automation and platform engineering Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Relevant industry certifications, such as AWS or Azure certifications, are desirable Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment information technology green card Infrastructure Automation Architect USC GC [email protected] |
