Role: Java Backend Developer with PL/SQL Location: Irving, TX (Only Locals) Duration: Contract Experience: 10+ years Visa : Only H1B with Passport Number Role Description: Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend components using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Hibernate). Write and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Collaborate with front-end developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions. Debug and troubleshoot issues across the application stack, ensuring high system reliability and performance. Optimize database queries and backend processes for scalability and efficiency. Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs as needed. Conduct code reviews, follow best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards. Develop unit tests and participate in system testing to ensure robust, error-free application functionality. Monitor and maintain existing applications, implementing enhancements as necessary. Prepare technical documentation for system design and development processes. Qualifications and Skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development. Strong expertise in PL/SQL programming and relational database concepts (e.g., Oracle, MySQL). Proficiency in frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate. Solid understanding of database design, optimization, and performance tuning. Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
