This role involves automating workflows and business processes within the JIRA platform for a private area and private bank of one of the biggest Latin banks - The automatic targets enhancing efficiency, and ensuring seamless integration with other tools and systems. Responsibilities * The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with JIRA, its APIs, and Java-based automation solutions, working to streamline operations and improve productivity. Key Responsibilities * JIRA Process Automation: Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for JIRA workflows to improve operational efficiency and minimize manual effort across teams. * Java Development: Write and maintain custom Java scripts for automating tasks, integrating JIRA with other systems (e.g., version control tools, CI/CD pipelines), and enhancing functionality. * Integration Management: Manage integrations between JIRA and other tools such as Git, Jenkins, Confluence, and Slack, ensuring smooth data flow and automation across platforms. * Continuous Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and optimize workflows, proposing and implementing improvements to current processes. * Technical Support & Training: Provide technical support and training to internal teams on JIRA automation features, best practices, and custom solutions. * Monitoring and Reporting: Create custom reports, dashboards, and metrics to track automation performance, monitor system health, and ensure business processes are running smoothly. * Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation for all automation solutions, workflows, and integrations, ensuring knowledge sharing across teams. Required Skills and Qualifications * Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Experience: 3-4 years of experience in JIRA process automation and Java development. * Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Java and associated frameworks. * Hands-on experience with JIRA APIs (REST, SOAP), scripting, and workflow automation in JIRA. * Familiarity with JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management, and JIRA Core. * Experience with integrations using tools like Bitbucket, GitLab, Confluence, Slack, and others. * Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation in development workflows. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize automation solutions. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. * Additional Skills: * Portuguese speaking is a nice to have. * Familiarity with other scripting languages such as Python or Bash is a plus. * Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with project management tools. * Technical English proficiency for reading documentation and communicating with international Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment information technology green card Florida Maryland : Process Automation Analyst :: Location: Miami Fl - Hybrid arfin@absoluting.com https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=1963061&uid= |
