Job Title: Lead Mainframe Developer Onsite Location: Atlanta, GA 30346 Job Description L2/L3 Mainframe Support Engineer - Developer with Minimum 8-9 Years of Hands on Experience in Mainframe Extensive knowledge in COBOL, VSAM, JCL, CICS etc., or above. Resolve Incidents & Service request for the application supported Proactively plan the Upgrades & outages for the application supported Perform Minor enhancements to the applications that are supported Drive Automation and Standard Operating Procedures as part of left-shift Effort Estimation and planning for Minor enhancements & Bug fixes Help with setting up new processes for Incident, Change , Problem and Release for new applications add to the scope Poses Good knowledge on SQL & DB2. Good to have people who have worked on Support Projects. Coordinate with offshore & Onsite team & Client vendor team to perform root cause analysis Drive issue call - P1, P2 like critical incident management & escalate to the higher management when required. Top Skills Required Core Mainframes - Cobol/db2/CICS/JCL/VSAM and also good Understanding of zOS.
