Duration: Long-term Key Responsibilities: Develop and write System Security Plans (SSPs) for suppliers and enterprise applications. Conduct interviews with business units to understand system components and security needs. Analyze responses to security control questions, identify gaps, and recommend remediation. Ensure compliance with COV SEC530 and NIST 800-53 standards. Perform risk assessments and document vulnerabilities. Provide expert guidance on risk mitigation and security improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business units to align security measures with organizational goals. Required Skills and Experience: IT Security Experience: 7+ years. Security Architecture Design & Implementation: 5+ years, including experience in writing SSPs and conducting security assessments. Compliance Knowledge: 4+ years of in-depth understanding of NIST 800-53, COV SEC530, and related security frameworks. Collaboration Skills: 2+ years of experience in cross-functional coordination. Additional Information: Onsite Requirement: 4 days per week onsite required during training (several weeks or months). Flexible schedule post-training, based on manager approval. Parking is available for contractors onsite.
