This role is for a foreign bank, requiring a candidate with a strong Investment Banking background (at least 1+ years of recent experience) to support and enhance network infrastructure in a data center environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Cisco technologies, network security, and data center solutions. Position Details: Title: Cisco ACI Engineer (Other applicable titles: Network Engineer (Data Center Focus), Network Security Engineer, Infrastructure Network Engineer, Data Center Network Engineer, SDN Engineer (Software Defined Networking), Network Solutions Architect (Data Center), Network Operations Engineer (Data Center), Network Implementation Engineer, Cloud Network Engineer (Hybrid Cloud), Enterprise Network Engineer) Location: New York City (Hybrid: 1-2 days/month on-site) Candidate must reside in NY, NJ, PA, or CT. Employment Type: C2C Eligibility: GC, USC, H4, GC EAD, or similar (no sponsorship available). Experience Level: Senior-level professionals (10+ years of overall experience, including 1+ years in Investment Banking). Interview Process: Video Interviews. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage network solutions with a focus on Cisco ACI and related technologies. Support and maintain Fortinet firewalls, ensuring robust security and high availability of network infrastructure. Configure and manage Cisco Nexus switches and routing solutions for data center environments. Implement and maintain micro-segmentation solutions to enhance security across the network. Optimize and troubleshoot F5 load balancing (LTM/GTM) and DNS solutions such as BlueCat and Infoblox. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network security solutions such as Cisco ISE. Work with the team to analyze, resolve, and prevent technical issues while adhering to compliance standards. Required Technical Skillset: Mandatory Skills: In-depth experience with Cisco routing, switching, and data center technologies (ACI, Nexus). Proficiency in Fortinet firewalls. Working knowledge of Cisco ISE. Preferred Skills: Expertise in F5 load balancing (LTM/GTM) and DNS-based solutions like BlueCat or Infoblox. Hands-on experience with micro-segmentation solutions. Qualifications: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with 1+ years supporting Investment Banking environments. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on implementing secure and scalable network solutions. Proven experience in large-scale data center environments and hybrid cloud networking.
