Ideal Candidate Ability to look at content and making sure it is performing well and designed well according to best practices Ability to work with users across the organization Strong communication work with users and mentoring junior members Alteryx Nice to have but not needed Someone who is open to learning new things Top Skills: Tableu (Tableau Cloud, Tableau Prep, Tableau Desktop), SQL Design/Development side ---- NOT ADMIN Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering Minimum of 6 years of experience in Tableau Dashboard and Prep Flow development Minimum of 3 years of experience in Alteryx Development Domain knowledge in Insurance and Finance industry is a plus Familiarity with Design prototyping tools such as Figma Experience with AWS technologies AWS EC2, ECS, VPC, S3, RDS, Redshift Good understanding of SQL, relational databases and relational database architecture Knowledge of best practices including design, performance, governance, administration and security for Tableau, Alteryx Advanced analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts. Experience with Agile software development using JIRA Experience in multiple OS platforms with strong emphasis on Linux and Windows systems Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) and query performance tuning. Knowledge of the Incident Response life-cycle Knowledge of the change management life-cycle Strong written and verbal communication skills. Note: Candidate is going to be the only Tableau Development/Specialist on the team ! Project: Own Tableau - Supporting system and performing well Have a need for development support Using tableau to design content Need to COE Help with content development Team is currently on the admin side basic development but nothing major Team doesnt know tableau design so they need someone who does. This resource will be designing dashboards Ideally in Figma or other prototype tools need to have figma exp. Dashboard building Work with business to push back good communication skills are a must. Guide people in terms of design process as the team doesnt know about design processes.
