Identifies Business and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Interacts with engineering groups to assist in design and development/enhancement to software. - It translates to being engaged in several projects with focus on timely delivery, quality, productivity. - Need Cobol on microfocus, IDE Eclipse experience. - Good hands-on experience on Cobol/JCL/VSAM/Unix/Oracle. - Knowledge on Java /Oracle/REST Service an added advantage - Domain Knowledge on Investment Accounting would be an added advantage. SKILLS & ABILITIES Knowledge of FIS products and services; in-depth knowledge of products and services in assigned line(s) of business Prior experience in Capital markets/Financial Markets domain is must have. Knowledge of financial services industry Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, e.g., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development In-depth understanding of Cobol, VSAM, Oracle and Unix Working knowledge in JCL. Knowledge of SQL is must. Should have worked in Agile methodology. Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design-based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts Willingly and successfully fulfils the role of teacher, mentor and coach May require in-depth knowledge of networking, computing platform, storage, database, security, middleware, network and systems management and related infrastructure technologies and practices Exposure to Cloud and Micro services will be value addition Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering in IT/Computer Science Oracle Database, PL/SQL Good to Know TCP/IP MQ C# Java Keywords: csharp message queue information technology procedural language Looking for COBOL Developer with Microfocus, IDE Eclipse [email protected] |
