This person will be working on an Actuarial Platform Administration System focused on Annuities. Currently they have a Business Analyst who is responsible for Requirements gathering, although this position will work with this Business Analyst and be a part of these sessions, the typical act of Req. gathering is not a focus for this role. Instead, this person will take the requirements, which are calculations, and work with the Development and Testing teams on testing to make sure the code is creating the correct formulas for the calculations. So basically, this person will be involved in testing from a Technical BA perspective, handling building test strategies and test plans for teams to execute. This is a very hands-on position as it pertains to creating technical test strategies and plans. They will also be heavily in the weeds with Data. They ideally are looking for someone with 1-5 years of experience. Has overseen and created test plans and strategies Domain exp Dev exp Data exp. Area: Actuarial Modeling & Systems Projects: Annuity New Products developing test strategies Team Culture: Individual will be collaborating with a Technical Analyst to ensure product development meets contractual and regulatory requirements, while reducing reputational risk to the company. The business analyst and technical analyst will be part of larger Product project teams. Project teams will be fast paced with demanding stakeholders, and will require a business analyst who can collaboratively, but independently own and drive their SDLC deliverablesproject scope, business requirements, test planning and execution, and defect management Their focus will be on implementing new capabilities, like Partial Roth Conversion, or product features as part of the overall Product Policy Value process. The Business Analyst will be responsible for authoring user stories, creating testing strategies and supporting the quality assurance team in test planning and execution / this is not a requirements eliciting position but someone who can take available information to guide others in execution.
