Role: Citrix System Admin Location: Miami, FL (Only Locals) Duration: Contract Experience: 10+ years Role Description: Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and administer Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly XenApp/XenDesktop) solutions. Perform upgrades, updates, and patches for Citrix environments to ensure security and performance. Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Citrix systems, including load balancing and resource allocation. Configure and troubleshoot Citrix NetScaler ADC and Citrix Gateway for secure remote access. Administer and optimize Citrix StoreFront and profile management solutions. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems such as Active Directory and networking infrastructure. Provide end-user support for Citrix-related issues and resolve incidents efficiently. Develop and maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans. Evaluate emerging Citrix technologies and provide recommendations for improvements. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in Citrix administration and support. Proficiency in managing Citrix products like Virtual Apps & Desktops, NetScaler ADC, Citrix Workspace, and Citrix Profile Management. Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policies. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls) and Power scripting. Certifications like CCA-V, CCP-V, or CCE-V are highly preferred.
