Need Local Profile Job Description Job Title - Sr Infrastructure/Cloud Architect Location - San Mateo, CA (Day 1 On-Site) Job Description: Who are we looking for Cloud professional with experience in Cloud solutions, Design, support operations and perform opportunity triage, and coordinate with clients the details of the solution. Has expertise in one or more Public Cloud provider technologies and can embed these capabilities into existing or new cloud-based infrastructure solutions. 12-15+ years of Industry experience with 5-8 Years in Infrastructure Architect/Cloud Architect role with strong Cisco UCS & Azure Cloud platform Skillset. Key Responsibilities: Engaging with Client leadership team to understand the business pain areas and transform/modernize to Hybrid Infrastructure solution to enhance the business services. Architect the On-premises Infrastructure & Azure Cloud Solution proposal & support the business development Spearheaded Cloud Lifecycle from understanding the Business Case to Implementation / Migration to any of the cloud platforms. Should understand the complexities involved in integrating the various modules, functionalities supported, customer requirements compliance etc. Identify key customer requirements, seek clarifications, understanding compliance and SLA requirements, envisage high-level solution and work with the SME to come out with the efforts involved for its implementation. Solution Architecture, Professional services SOW design and Service Offering Scoping/Project Definition. Solution walkthrough with clients and co-ordinate with SMEs to implement the same. Architecting solutions around on data center Cisco UCS & Azure Cloud infrastructure Client stakeholder communication on the key decisions and project updates. Act as a SPOC for the overall cloud Migration project for the client and Offshore Team Technical Experience: Strong understanding of enterprise architectural methodologies. Strong skillset on developing design methodologies, frameworks, and bringing the best practices in Client environment. Experience in Assessing, Designing, Planning, and Implementing enterprise grade Hybrid Infrastructure based solutions Strong experience in assessing the current Infrastructure Hardware and provide the Cisco relevant hardware recommendations Strong experience in Designing and implementing the Cisco UCS Platform Strong experience in VMware platform in terms of Assessing the current platform, Design, Migration from one VMware platform to another VMware platform. Strong experience in Azure Cloud landing zone design and implementation of the same Experience on assessing the AD Infrastructure and provide the FMO architecture, migration designs Good amount of experience designing & planning the Platform Upgradation projects Understanding of IT infrastructure including Hardware, platforms, networks, and infrastructure Experience with Datacenter technologies (Cisco UCS, Wintel/Linux/VMware, Linux, Server hardware, DC networking) Strong experience on Azure Cloud Platform & Infrastructure services Good experience in planning the Migration & Execution of On-premises & Cloud Experience in developing Azure cloud-based solutions Understanding of Migrations and upliftment. Experience in DevOps and toolchain setup and operations Process Skills: Should have led at least 4-5 medium/large size migration projects as technology architect. Good understanding of TOGAF architectural methodology. Performed consultative engagements independently like environmental assessments/estate wide remediation plan. Keeping abreast of industry trends, technology innovation, and changing customer requirements to help with the continual service improvement. Behavioral Skills: Effective interpersonal, team building and communication skills Excellent verbal and written communication Excellent client / customer relationship management skills at the executive level Extensive client / customer service management skills Good people management skills Certification: Graduate or equivalent degree in IT related field. Azure Certified Architect Professional Architect certification in Infrastructure services is an added advantage.
