Need Local fits, First references to candidates having county experience Job Title: Security Architect Hybrid - 2 days - Waterford, MI Job Description: The Security Architect and Engineer will secure enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems; and preparing security standards, policies, and procedures. This role involves evaluating network and security technologies; developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices. Additionally, the role requires designing public key infrastructures (PKIs), including the use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures, as well as hardware and software. The candidate must adhere to industry standards for on-premises, remote (DR), and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities: Determine security requirements and implement security systems. Develop and maintain security standards, policies, and procedures. Plan and evaluate security technologies for networks and related devices. Design and manage public key infrastructures (PKIs). Enhance the security team's capabilities by delivering solutions, providing technical and procedural support, teaching improved processes, and mentoring team members. Environment: Define, operationalize, and document the security architecture and assessment function. Develop, standardize, and document reference architectures, specifically zero trust architecture. Determine and apply appropriate controls and criteria for security architecture reviews.
